Monthly Meetings:
Schedule and Agenda
In Ordinance with Chapter 42.30 RCW: OPEN PUBLIC MEETINGS ACT which “declares meetings open and public, prohibits secret voting, and covers rules for public comment and recording.”
The Open Public Meetings Act (OPMA) in Washington State ensures that the public can observe government decision-making processes. It requires that all meetings of governing bodies of public agencies, including city and county councils, be open to the public. This includes providing proper notice and allowing public attendance and participation, with limited exceptions.
The Seattle Indian Services Commission invites all community members, organizations, and individuals interested in attending our monthly Governing Council meetings. These meetings are held every 4th Tuesday of the Month from 5:00PM-7:00PM, please RSVP below for details on how to attend.
SISC values the voice of our community.
