The Seattle Indian Services Commission invites all community members, organizations, and individuals interested in attending our monthly Governing Council meetings. These meetings are held every 4th Tuesday of the Month from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM.
Our Governing Council provides oversight and guidance for the Seattle Indian Services Commission, setting its overall direction and ensuring it operates effectively. The Governing Council is responsible for establishing policies, approving budgets, and monitoring progress towards goals. In essence, they govern, while site leaders and staff focus on management and implementation.
