SISC Seeks developer partner for Native Village & Gateway project
The Seattle Indian Services Commission (SISC) is seeking submittals from qualified firms to partner with SISC on the development of a 150+-unit new construction multifamily housing project located at the previous site of the Pearl Warren Building. SISC owns the site and has conducted some preliminary site feasibility studies for redevelopment.
The Commission owns the Pearl Warren Building property, a 1.1-acre parcel located on 12th & Weller in Seattle’s Little Saigon neighborhood. SISC is redeveloping the site as the Native Village & Gateway project, a mixed-use transit-oriented development that provides a minimum of six floors of affordable housing.
The project’s vision also features 1 to 2 floors of commercial space that includes affordable and culturally relevant childcare, Bernie Whitebear Hall of Ancestors (a community gathering space), commercial kitchen, a gymnasium, and an Economic Empowerment Center.
SISC is now accepting applications for developer partner proposals and proposals must be submitted by June 26, 2026. Interviews with qualified firms will be conducted on June 30th and July 1st, 2026.
